Anyroad, it's official now. The new quiz starts on Monday 10 August, at 8pm (and not quarter or half past :)
Name's InQuizition, Irish Harp InQuizition. Venue - yep, you guessed it right. Irish Harp Pub in Charlottenburg. Easy enough to get there, by then the general public transportation chaos should be resolved. The basic quiz rules remain the same, multi media, German & English, big screen pix, 5 rounds(ish), nuts & shots, teams of six max. ...
Changes: NO entry fee, 1st prize is a bottle of alcohol (if you don't like vodka you can pick something else), the place has air condition!!! and a lovely smokers "lounge" with chairs and tables.
While it's probably not necessary to reserve a table during the holiday season, you can do so by just phoning them at (030) 22 32 87 35 or mail through the contact for on the website.
All submitted ideas & wishes for new features or changes will be up here over the weekend, more in the next post. In the meantime - goeth forth and practiseth, it might be different from the old quiz but certainly not much easier (unless you wish so).

Der Name - InQuizition, Irish Harp InQuizition. Der Ort - yep, richtig vermutet - Irish Harp Pub in Charlottenburg. Leicht zu finden und einfach zu erreichen, und bis zum 10.8. sollte sich auch das derzeitige BVG-Chaos wieder entspannt haben.
Die grundlegenden Spielregeln und Formate bleiben die selben, multi-media, Deutsch & English, große Leinwand, (ca.) 5 Runden, Nüsse & Shots,6 Spieler max. pro Team...
Neuerungen: KEIN Spielgeld mehr, Siergerpreis eine Flasche Alk (wer keinen Wodka will kann sich was anderes wünschen), der Laden hat Aircondition und - für die Bedürftigen, zu denen ich nicht mehr zähle :) - ein nettes Raucherzimmer, mit Tischen & Stühlen.
Und obwohl es wahrscheinlich während der Ferien nicht notwendig sein wird Tische zu reservieren könnt ihr das wenn ihr wollt trotzdem tun, per Telefon unter (030) 22 32 87 35 oder mail über das Kontaktformular auf der Website.
Alle bisher eingesandten Vorschläge & Wünsche zu Änderungen oder neuen Runden werden hier über's Wochenende erscheinen, damit ihr euch dazu äußern könnt. In der Zwischenzeit - gehet hin und übet euch - das Quiz mag vielleicht etwas anders werden als das alte, aber sicherlich nicht viel leichter(es sei denn das ist euer Wunsch :)
