Bit later than usual (well, at least round here, fb is always a bit faster) points and pics (at least the first 60 of 110) of last Thursday's marvelous madness. What a perfect night - super well behaved crowd, lovely new teams (amonst them more SHERLOCK FANS!!!), return of the 'old gang' and an absolutely terrifically fun night (complete with the now customary rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody and Last Unicorn). Looking forward to a repeat show very soon.
Yogi right goes to Cider Crocs - please do send me your suggestions by Sunday 4 November 9pm (I have reserved 1 table for you - if you need more please do phone Oscar Wilde ;)). As many topics as you like, no Nicholas Cage, Hundertwasser, Quantum Physics, Johnny Depp, New Zealand, Penguins, HIMYM, or Female Scientists (never again)... will fill in the rest when I've checked records.

Kiwis, Karaoke & kwality statt kwantity

So.. finally.. after Super Sunday that was not all that super (blind refs anyone?!?!) last week's points and book.. and link to pics (quiz only - after party karaoke pics facebook only)
Yogi goes to JM2D again.. if I don't hear from you by Monday afternoon (ausnahmsweise) I assume I can take one of last week's leftovers.. or that you don't want to return :D
Have revised BOOK - only the teams in for now that have either explicitely booked or confirmed their previous reservations (exception DAQ, Graces & Hurricanes who might as well be nailed to their respective tables :P). No more 3 weeks in advance bookings, if you want a table (especially any of the 'good' tables) - first come first seated.
That said - Thursday looks like another small crowd so instead of hand-outs in the 20 minutes I watch Newcastle.. we might FINALLY do ASpice World. Still - I'm taking suggestions for hand-out round.. anything but anagrams :P (update: so far I've had 2 votes for anagrams and 1 for album covers.... if I don't hear any other suggestions - anagrams it is :P)
Looking forward to WQ#63 - and maybe another highly entertaining after-kwiz party-karaoke-disco night (thanks to generous DAQs for sharing the winner's bottle.. and a song or two - Bohemian Rhapsody has never sounded so.. interesting :D)

before I forget - for those who are note 'regular crowd'.. Halloween Quiz is up soon and you need a reservation (last I checked there were 5 tables left)

Also - there's one bonus point for every player (6 max per team) who turns up in costume (at least 3 parts, no silly little princess crowns or Burger King hats.... it's Halloween, NOT carneval).

Apologies for the lack of updates here, was busy with non-quizzical stuff, and since most peops are in the fb group anyway.....
Anyroad - great fun it was again, and what a lot of pleasant surprises.
Our very own JK Rowling (regulars will remember the voting marathon ;)) HAS ACTUALLY GONE AND WON THE FLIPPING AWARD!!!! Congratulations to the amazing authoress and thanks a million to all who have helped her do so. YOU ROCK - all of you!!!!
Only slightly less important - TOON WON TOO!!! 

As did Cannonballs in the penultimate round of Champions League season 5. Meaning that now they're only 9 points behind the leading Graces and we can all gespannt look forward to next week's FINALE!!!!
