The shape of things to come...

Quickly (wegen der fortgeschrittenen frühen Stunde).... BIG THANK YOU to all 12 teams tonight, you made this fun. And I'm still pleasantly shocked that we actually finished at 11pm. Let's do that again.
For now, the revised 'book' for WQ#26 (19 January) and WQ#27 (26 January)... non-graphic form.

WQ#26
Newbies, Apples, Graces, Alpha Strong, Pinkies, Just Met 2Day and ??? have their usual tables. Hurricanes have 26, Cannonballs 34, KBF 35... free are 27, 28, 29.. and ghost tables 36+37.

WQ#27
Newbies, Apples, Graces, Alpha Strong, Pinkies, and Just Met 2Day have their usual tables. Feid Club have 31+32, Howard 35, and KFB 34... free are 26, 27, 28, 29.. and ghost tables 36+37.

And - in case someone has missed the 15 announcements - if you're into the BBC's 'Sherlock' and want to watch series 2, episode 3 (series FINALE!!!) "The Reichenbach Fall" LIVE on the BIG SCREEN in HD...Oscar Wilde back bar, Sunday 15 January, 10pm at the very latest.

The rest of it here tomorrow or über's Wochenende. Hope to see you soon for more fun.

BTW - The Invaders have the right to pick their Yogi topic of choice for next week's quiz.. send me your suggestion by mail by Sunday 9pm at the latest.

Sadly I can't be there on Sunday, but I like the idea of a few social events with fellow quizzers, after all we spend every Thursday together without even knowing more than the team-names about each other.
So a big ♥ for all future events like those!

And speaking of improvements I would vote for:
* A alcohol free Weizen on the menu! (Seriously which bar doesn't nowadays, embrace the designated drivers!)
* An upgrade to the projector (I see quite a lot of rainbow-effect and flickering - but maybe that is just me)

And since we (ok "I") am already in anal-mode (smited be those who snicker now!) what is with that smell when you enter the front bar? Am I the only one noticing it? Luckily the back bar is fine, but kind of dampens any plans to go get a beer afterwards in the front.

I hope I don't have to wear the green hat of nose-turning, projector-complaining, anti-alcoholics after this post. ;)

will pass on the alco-free request to the boss...(personally, I'd say.. *yuck* but then...)
beamer - it's a new one already, only 2 months old... will have to find out if it's just you or others too (not that many others comment here or there ;)
as to the olfactory remark - haven't noticed it all that strongly (maybe I'm used to it.. toilets? define the smell ;).. will try and find out..)
and of course there's no green hat for helpful hints and comments ;) - I've asked for them ...

and I'm already working on the socialising/getting-to-know-each-other-better thingie....

see you soon I hope ;)

Definitely noticed the rainbow-thingy at the Christmas quiz, though it might have something to do with the beam being in the way. The flickering might have been before the new projector came (did the Newbies ever see the old one?).
And big cheers for alco-free Weizen (not just beer, but Weizen, and Erdinger is the best one at that *hinthint*)

The smell reminds me of a white tiled room in a basement to dispose of bodies, a mixture of very strong cleaners and dead bodies.

never noticed any 'rainbow' but even the new one has flickerd once or twice, nothing bad though. will ask around if others have noticed.. not that we'd get another new beamer ;)
can't promise Erdinger but will do my best to convince him to get Weizen... again, no promise ;)
as for the smell.... shit, I thought I had hidden the bodies deep enough in the basement (corpses of unruly quizzers, for when the green hat failed :P ;)

I would always follow his advice for body disposal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=4HAQ3pNHwj4#t=40s
