It seems I'm getting better with the umgehenden update ;).. yesterday's points and Champions League statistics.. the photos will have to wait until after the Everton game...
Twas another fun night and lovely crowd... glad to see so many new and enthusiastic quiz afficionados joining out merry family... and looking forward already  to next wek and seeing some of you again :)
Anyroad, last night's scores and resulting CL places (nothing changed in the top four, ??? have moved up a place or two..)

Ye Wilde Halloween Quiz - points, pics & shitwhatnot

Alreet folks, first of all once more thanks for a bloody great night. Unless memory fails me, this was a RECORD attendance in all my quiz years.. 17!! teams, and 70+ peops. It was good to see so many lovely new faces, and some good old boys and girls too. Looks as if our little quiz family is growing rapidly :D
So for once I've diligently done my homework in time... Here are Thursday's points, and a few pics (all 70+ here for download), as well as the Champions League table after 5 weeks (very tight affair for a change, with 7 more weeks to go all teams still have a very good chance to win the crown in season 2.. and a brand new cup we'll have ready for the final ;))

Yogi topic for Ye Wilde Quiz #18 has been (well) chosen by Howard Met Your Brother, I look forward to writing/photoshopping that round :D
And even though it might not get as packed as last week, I do strongly recommend you book your table rechtzeitig. If you want to know who's in already, check right hand bar.

Ye Wilde Halloween Quiz

After consulting the BigBadBook of Reservations we have found that tomorrow's bloody Halloween quiz is BOOKED OUT.
In the book are the following teams with table numbers (we might have to shift a bit tomorrow, depending on how many actually turn up)

If for whatever reason you cannot come, PLEASE DO PHONE AND CANCEL.. we have at least 3 mroe teams who are hoping for a table.
If you have no reservation but want to try your luck, do turn up IN TIME. We might be able to cram in some 5-8 more people...

And DO TURN UP IN TIME anyway.. we start at 8.15 sharp. Also, read/remember the new rules.
If you feel like showing up/off in a Halloween or other costume... all the better. There might be extra points for creativity.

Ye Wilde Quiz - NEW RULES

After the last 3 weeks, I'm more than a tad annoyed with certain bad habits that have crept in after giving too much leash and so I've decided to yank the chain a bit. Here are the new rules.
Kick-off time
It's probably partly my fault because I've always waited till the last players have turned up. I know that only few of you work till 8 and most could make it in time if they tried. For now we'll keep an academic quarter and start at 8.15pm. Ready or not. That way we might be able to finish by 11pm. If that doesn't work we'll skip all ciggy breaks between rounds.
Registration
I'm tired of running after people to ask for team names, joker rounds, and entry fee. From now on we return to the old custom of teams coming to my table, giving me team name, number of players, and entry fee for the whole team. No more 'I'll pay you next time/in Australian dollars/I haven't got any change etc.) Only valid currency is Euro, in coins no smaller than 10 cents. If you need to get rid of copper coins, try your local supermarket or bank. Joker rounds can be announced/changed till 8.14pm.
Reservation/Cancellation
Some teams still reserve and then don't show up without cancelling. If you know you can't make it, phone the Oscars and vacate your table for other teams. It's common courtesy. Otherwise "your" table will be free for all and you'll have to turn up early and chance it.

Wilde Quiz #16 - making history

Just this.. I'm still gobsmacked. Yep. Me. Old Yappy. Speechless.
Both CannonballZ and ?? (the reigning WQ Champions League champions!!!) managed to finish a round with nil points. And got nuts... sorry lads, das mußte noch mal an die Öffentlichkeit ;).. und ich hab mir denTag im Kalender rot markiert :P
All in all the rest was fun, if not totally everyone's taste.. better luck next time :D

Wilde Quiz #17 is the annual spooky, scary, gory, wicked, .... Halloween Special Edition. Hopefully we'll get a bit decoration, and other accessoires from management, and if you are so inclined - do show us your costumes, masks and frightening faces ;)
