It was incredibly tight (only 3 points, which Fietscherings*** would have got, had they not missed one quiz...) till the very end but DAQ**** DID IT.
An unprecedented 4th (3rd consecutive) title. CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Finaaaale, o-ho, Finaaaale, o-ho-ho-ho... Champions League Season 10 - the end is nigh

Just a quick heads-up and caveat.

Tomorrow (3 April) we play the Champions League Season 10 final. AKA Beat the DAQs. We still have 6 tables so if you want in - book one. (We CANNOT reserve a table for single persons who just want to 'observe' ... you could just come in though and join one of the teams, there are always those who are willing to 'adopt' / looking for fresh brains ;)

And just so's we don't all get annoyed on Thursday - if you 'only' want to party and have fun and talk with your mates, THIS particular quiz is not for you. Champions League finale means we need a certain measure of concentration, and thus quietness. Those who disturb will be - very politely - asked to leave ;)

What a night! Slightly louder and unrulier than I would have preferred, and was good for us, but we made it through it in one piece :D

What a lovely night of great green fun, and mystery drinks, and mingling. We should - and will - do that more often :D (do send your ideas or 'requests'.. :D)

For now just basic points & new book, no computer 'work' for a while as per doctor's orders. I will try to post a few of last night's pics that don't need processing/editing later - you have to see some of those faces during the pitcher round :D

Almost forgot - prediction of the week. Toon had a weekend off, so we concentrate on the Champions League. For 2 points - predict the number of goals scored in the 2 Champions League games on Wednesday (PSG-Leverkusen & Barcelona-ManCity) and the team who scores the first one.
