We could do 20 music rounds with "summer" titles and not repeat a single one...
Wer sich auf Donnerstag vorbereiten will - hier gibt's 'ne kleine Liste. Natürlich werd ich nicht die ganz schwierigen raussuchen, auch nicht die ganz alten, oder die ganz ausgefallenen... aber etwas challenge darf's schon sein.

Inquizition #39 - it's gonna be KOOL

Right, apologies for the silence, absence, lack of attention.. but there was a wee footie tourno going on. Now that all's back to 'normal' for a few weeks, here's your vorläufig last chance to enjoy stupid questions in cool climate, show off, smart-ass me a bit, and win some booze.

Round 1: Karl May (we'll have to do him eventually :)
Round 2: By the numbers (mixed round, all the main answers are numbers, add them up correctly and get another 5 points)
Yogi: up to Marx Brothers.. Or I'll pick something

Okay, da ich 2 1/2 Zusagen für Donnerstag hab versuchen wir's doch einfach mal wieder mit Quiz. Und falls nicht genug auftauchen die ich gegeneinander hetzen kann, geh'n wir alle wieder nach Hause und bereiten uns auf Samstag vor.
Okay, alle außer den Engländern.
Die sind schon zu Hause :D

Anyroad, genug der Häme, und Konzentration auf das Wichtige.
Marx-Brothers und/oder 0815 - ihr habt bis Mittwoch nachmittag Zeit mir was zu schicken, so ihr denn auftaucht. Ansonsten stehen die Runden so gut wie fest (s. rechts)
Wer sich noch was anderes wünschen will - bis Dienstag nach dem Spanien/Portugal-Spiel.

Also bis Donnerstag in alter Frische (und in klimatisierten Räumlichkeiten :D) und wer nicht will - schönen Sommer!!
Und immer schön üben - SchlAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAnD!

Lang, lang ist's her

daß Wissen außer Fußballstatistiken, Abseitsregeln oder Bierpreisen gefragt war.
Daher, und wie vor langer Zeit schon angedeutet, dachte ich neulich in einer nüchternen Minute wie's denn mit 'ner Runde Quiz am Donnerstag den 1. Juli wäre. WM-freie Zone und es haben sich da auch so einige Fragen, Bilder und Töne angesammelt.
Die Yogi-Runde steht immer noch den Marx Brothers oder aber 0815 zu, eine Runde wird (aus mehr oder weniger gegebenem Anlaß) Fuball sein (eher ganz pauschal, mit einigen (all)gemeinen WM-Fragen) und alles andere ist pretty much offen.
Wenn ich genug Handzeichen kriege bis Montag Abend könnten wir uns am Donnerstag ab 20.00 Uhr zusammenhocken und mal die Gehirne strapazieren.
Wortmeldung wie immer auf den üblichen Wegen.
Bis dahin - Come on Slov.. err, England!!! Und Waka Waka Germany!!!!!!!

Just because someone mentioned it last night - we have had - for ages - a facebook group. Was just rather boring for me (same as here) to update it withour scarcely a comment.. it is still out there but half-dead. Feel free to join.

Nice last quiz before the World Cup break and the allied forces of SuperNova and Cannonballs triumphed. SuperBallZ indeed.

The right to pick the Yogi topic for #38 on 1 July goes to the Marx Brothers (after only one round - the mind boggles at what their score migh have been had they played all 5). By Tuesday 29 June 8pm, as usual. And, ersatzweise, the team formerly known as 0815 (and now known as Sch...e or England is ...) can send me their suggestion too, just in case.
Which brings us to the plan. Preliminarily so.
Inquizition #38 is planned to kick off on Thursday 1 July, 8pm (not much later, I have to catch an early train on Friday).
I will however make the final decision the weekend before, depending on how many teams utter the desire to play. If summer/BBQ/holiday/other plans get in the way we'll try again on Thursday July 8. If that fails too we might actually give it up altogether.
No plans yet for #38 though, apart from 1 World Cup round (c'mon, you know we have to). And Maybe May, Karl May. Or maybe not. Rest still pretty much open, just check here now and again and let me know in time if you're game or not.
Oh, and we are going to have - footie-related - Prediction Of The Week.
