Good Graces, guys excelling at 'girlie' questions & Alice: Madness returns - WQ#176

Madness (or rather smart-arsing disruptive elements) returned but, by and large, WQ#176 was fun. Or so most Queops said. I am getting closer to solving the 'noise' problem so hang in there, soon we shall have 'quiet' nights again where you can hear all questions, and yourself thinking ;)

Also mondo fun - the CL race is ON!! Fietscherings**** have finally thrown their hat in the ring, AND the gauntlet, and our latest additions are fitting in just nicely - glad to have you, Alices and Oscar's Mild :D

Congrats to dogless duo Graces, nice second place, and almost first!! Special congrats to Pünktchen, Pünktchen, Strays & ArNO who came close 4th with a new team high score of 83.5 - champions past and current, beware!

Also, reservations for the annual Paddy's Day All Ireland Quiztravaganza need to be in by Sunday 8 March midnight, then we close the book. NO exceptions/gatecrashers/late entries.We need to plan & prepare.

That said, looking forward to Ye Wilde Women's Day & Ladies' Night Quiz tomorrow, Alice im Wunderland have send me a fantastic Yogi topic :D

What The F?????

For the records - the start into season 14 was largely fun (glad to see old friends again and welcome nice new additions to our little quiz family) and interesting in terms of scores. WAY TO GO, BallZ*!!! - whence from here?

The only little downer - some people just couldn't play by the rules (despite prior assurances to the contrary). Maybe it did go over their heads a wee bit... But if the quiz was loud and unruly (at times), it was nothing compared to the après-quiz-party. Trying to nick people's beers, annoying the F out of staff and customers, leaving a pigsty behind, and ganging up on me, getting in my face telling me how SHIT a quiz it was - I think we've found a new low. Gotta love people who can't hold their drink.
Anyroad, it was the first and last time. Hope the uttered 'threat' (or promise) to never come back is still fresh in their minds (sic) when they wake up again.
We'll introduce new rules in the near future to prevent **** like that from ever happening again and look forward to enjoying what's left of season 14. 

That said - the rest of the teams, and the evening, were mondo fun. Always a pleasure, queops :D

Alice im Wunderland have Yogi (deadline is Monday 9pm) and as announced a few times - WQ#176 is largely Ladies' Night. (8 March is International Women's Day). We will have a round on famous females, one 'girlie' round (gossip, fashion, chick flicks, maybe even a few boy bands ;) ) Music will be brought to you by DIVAS (from Queen B to the Queen of Soul and the Princess of Pop). The only secret as yet is the Yogi Round but I have a feeling Alices won't let us down :)

I'll be enjoying a few days in the sticks and return in time for next week's - hopefully smooooooooooooth - Wilde Women's Quiz.
