The shape of some summer things to come

For those who have asked about Sommerpause (what Sommer?!?)and/or the schedule for the short/mid-term future… THERE IS NO SUMMER BREAK (why would there be? :) and from now on all quizzes will be back to their normal Thursday slot (unless the back bar is needed for "major events")... From mid-August on there might be the odd change of day/date due to NEWCASTLE UNITED's involvement in the UEFA Cup. Unless we verkack the qualifiers. But all that is still a far cry and for now we continue as if nothing ever happened.
The first game of Ye Wilde Quiz Champions League Season 5 (aka YWQCLS5 or CLS5) will be WQ#49 on Thursday 19 July.
ON Thursday 26 July we'll take a short break from CLS5 and have a big anniversary Quiz. Believe it or not but it's Ye Wilde Quiz #50 already. The Big Five Oh!! Golden Jubilee. We'll have lots of sill stuff, games (PITCHER!!!, paper planes...) and hopefully special prizes (still looking for sponsors :)... The quiz does not count in the CL but rather reflects  1 year of laughable questions, loyal quizzers, liberal quaffing, long-running quests and ludicrous quips… That one is most defilikely gonna be packed to the rafters so first come first seated. Loyalists JM2D, DAQ, Hurricanes, ???, Cannonballs, WFIDE and Graces are seeded. All others need to book.
So  - that’s the plan for now (and the rest of ‘summer’)… mark your calendars, prepare your teams (and answers) and bring your A-Team. Or at least your A Game.
I’m looking forward to the Silly Season.
