Un da sich Team Ööhm erfahrungsgemäß nie meldet geht das Yogi-Thema-Bestimmungsrecht mal wieder an die Marx Brothers (die sich erfahrungsgemäß nicht melden werden :))
Ich find schon was ..

Der ganze Abend war sehr lustig (und ansatzweise lehrreich :)) aber beim nächsten Mal nehm ich dann trotz kleiner Runde wieder das Mike. War nicht so schick für die Stimme am next morning.
Offen Fragen wie die untere Hälfte von Johnny Depp werden hier demnächst geklärt :D

In the summertime, when the weather is hot...

we said we'd do a quiz every other week. Apparently there is some demand from various sides for a return to the weekly rhythm.
If you are able, and willing, and totally excited to play again on Thursday 5 August, do let me know by commenting on this here post, or contacting me by any of the options given at the bottom of the page. If I don't get raised hands from more than 3 teams, the next regular Inquizition is Thursday 12 August, at or shortly after 8pm. I need to know by Monday night at the latest so's I can prepare 5 wicked rounds.

And ze Ganze auch in Dschörmin. Der geplante zwei-Wochen-Rhythmus ist scheinbar einigen Leuten zu lang. Wer also schon an diesem Donnerstag (5. August) wieder raten will sollte seine beabsichtigte Teilnahme hier kundtun. Entweder als Kommentar zu diesem Eintrag oder auf den üblichen Wegen (am unteren Ende der Seite aufgeführt). Wenn ich bis spätestens Montag nacht Handzeichen von mehr als 3 Teams habe treffen wir uns am kommenden Donnertag zu Nr. 41. Anderenfalls ist der nächste reguläre Termin der 12. August, um oder kurz nach 20.00 Uhr.
Also - hands up, wer hat noch nicht, wer will schon wieder...

Comics, Connections, and Name Games

Right folks, it's time for another round of silly questions, confusing pics, and smart-arse comments (well, not really :D)
Inquizition #40 on 29 July (start between 8 and .. a bit later) comes with the following rounds:

Music - The Name Game (from "Eloise" to "Emily Kane“, from "Mandy“ to "Hey Joe“, and from "WTF is Alice“ to “Jaqueline”.. nicely chopped into 4:30ish)
Round 1 - Connect 9, or 9 x Connect 3, or 9 Degrees of Separations.. or something with links
Round 2 - Famous Lasts (last words, last lines, last seen, last concert, last film, last man on the moon, last man standing...and last but not least - James Last :)
Round 3 - no one sent me a Yogi topic so we'll do Comics. From Peanuts to Phantom, Superman to Simpsons, Digedags to Danger Mouse. Print editions only, no movie versions!!! Loads of pictures in this round though.
Talking of which - Picture Round o/c the usual BS.

Oh, and before I forget - the points for #39, proper version.

Die nächste Chance zum Klugscheißen (oder auch nicht :)) gibt's am Donnerstag den 29. Juli ab 20.00 Uhr. (das mit dem grünen Hut und den daran anhängigen gelben bzw. roten Karten müssen wir nochmal klären - so spaßig wie das ganze am Donnerstag war, gedacht ist er eigentlich als "Straf- bzw. Abschreckungsmittel. Und das wird auch wieder so werden :)

Themen für #40 hab ich noch keine (außer ggf. Connect 9 oder 9 x Connect 3), also ab und zu mal hier reinschauen. Oder selbst welche vorschlagen :D. Und Super 3 oder Boot & Shoe dürfen das Thema für die Yogi-Runde wählen. Einzureichen bis Mittwoch den 28. gegen 20.00 Uhr.

Alles andere eventuell über's Wochenende, oder spätestens am 28. Bis dahin - schönen Sommer, und immer fleißig üben :)

Letzte Runde

Da sich die Marx Brothers nicht gemeldet haben steht das Jogi-Thema frei. Hätte ja Spice World gemacht da ich aber nicht weiß wie viele Teams außer den angemeldten 1,5 kommen werd ich mir die mühseligen Vorbereitungen ersparen.
Der erste der was ansagt kann sich das Thema wählen, ansonsten ziehe ich morgen Abend einfach eins aus dem Hut. '1000 Islands' klingt gut...

Summer in the city

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, have I got hot songs for you...
We could do 20 music rounds with "summer" titles and not repeat a single one...
Wer sich auf Donnerstag vorbereiten will - hier gibt's 'ne kleine Liste. Natürlich werd ich nicht die ganz schwierigen raussuchen, auch nicht die ganz alten, oder die ganz ausgefallenen... aber etwas challenge darf's schon sein.
