Eggstraordinarily busy

No eggcuses or apologies.. just an eggsplanation. I've been negligent. Not that I've been lazy.. just busy with other things. RL. And obsessions. And Easter. In RL.
Anyroad, still working on tomorrow's plan (and questions) .. but so far it looks like this:
Music - (more or less famous) intros.. you know, the all important first few sesonds that make you want to buy a song.. or run screaming from the room. Nicely cut and mixed. Round 1 - April Fool's Day - mostly True or False (let's see if you can find out if/when I'm lying :P) maybe a few multiple-choice-assorted-BS questions too. Round 2 - Chicks, and eggs, and lambs, and bunnies.. Easterly, like. Round 3 - not the foggiest. Kinder Surprise. Pictures - the usual mix...
We will have fun, and choccies, and hopefully nuts, and definitely alcohol.. and maybe the odd smoke :D And I can sleep in on Friday you we might even have a bit of karaoke :D

I know, even tardier than usual. Monday, and what, no points up?!? No preview?! No prediction?!? What has she been doing all week long?!?
Well, I've simply enjoyed a long weekend. Football, food, Richard Armitage films, fotoschopp, long walks and .. the rest I shall keep to myself :D
Anyroad, here are last week's points.

Which brings us to this week's questions. Or at least topics.
Thanks to visiting Peanut Ninjas (who won't be with us on Thursday :) the Yogi Round is all about Muppets (and we're not talking about the variety that drive me spare ever so often). Round 1 is Angels - from song to film&TV, to painted, biblical, and tree-topping ones. Round two is still open but we might do an anagram round..
Music is all adding up - songs with numbers in the title (from nine million bicyles to 50 ways to leave your lover, sixteen tons to 99 Luftballons).

Oh, and Pinky & Brain won the jackpot (all 25€) so that's out of the way too. And there won't be any Prediction of the Week since no one ever predicts anything anyway.

And the missing question round is going to be Darts Round (or maybe we'll do Lucky Dip - you draw questions out of a hat, bag, pot or whatever..)

Für diejenigen die's vergessen hatten oder sich nicht entschließen konnten, Prediction of the Week pt .2 ist noch offen(nachdem keiner das 2-2 vom samstag getippt hatte) - Endergebnis Newcastle - Scunthorpe am 17.3. um 20.45 Uhr .. Abgabetermin 17.3. 20.45 Uhr. Und wer nicht will, der läßt's eben.

Oh, und da es immer näher rückt - das diesjährige Oster-Quiz ist #29 am 1. April um 20.00 Uhr. Eiersuche, Fragen zu Bunnies, Chicks, Lämmchen und Schokolade... wer dabei sein will und nicht an der Tür sitzen möchte sollte sich rechtzeitig einen Tisch reservieren (4 sind schon weg). Am besten direkt im Harp anrufen (030/22 32 87 35, Mo - Fr ab 12.00 und Wochenende ab 10) oder mir auf den üblichen Wegen Bescheid geben.

once again much fun was had by all... even the ones not officially playing... and we welcome another 2 new - hopefully regular - teams: T&A (which is not what you think but Tim & Ashley :P) and Bigos.
So - und um ruhigen Gewissens ins Wochenden zu gehen - hier die Punkte von letzter Nacht, die Vorhersage der Woche, und der - ansatzweise - Plan für #27.


Prediction of the week: you know, the usual... but different. Endergebnisse für Middlesbrough - Newcastle am 13.3. und Newcastle - Scunthorpe am 17.3. Einzureichen auf den üblichen Wegen (s. rechts) bis Samstag, 13.3. 16.00 Uhr.

Plans for #27 on 18 March. T'is the day after St. Patrick's Day so Round 1 will be Ireland. From saints to songs, leprechauns to long ways to Tipperary and other stuff I do not know of yet. We might have the odd Irish gift too..
Round 2 is still pretty much open - if you have wishes or suggestions, do let me know.
Yogi Round is already beschlossen - Lord of the Rings. The Book. Only. Obviously alle 3 Teile. (Thanks Tim, for making me read that one again :D)
Music - not sure yet, might be polyphonic ringtones for a change. Or we do mystery sounds. oder Schlager :D

we finally have a Yogi topic.. and with that, we have all 5 rounds for Inquizition #26 sorted.
Round 1 - Antike / Ancient World (Greece, Rome, Babylon, Egypt.. mythology, mummies, Ruinen & Romanes Eunt Domus..)
Round 2 - Stadt, Land, Fluß .. your basic geography round
Yogi Round - Simpsons characters & celebrities (Dank an die WuselDusels) - von Simpsons-Charakteren bis zu "echten" Stars die Gastauftritte hatten... hatten wir zwar vor nicht allzu langer Zeit aber es gibt noch jede Menge Restbestände :D
Music Round - Cover Versions - lange nicht gehabt (ich nehm noch Hinweise an falls es Cover-Versionen von Songs ab Mitte der 90er gibt, most likly by bands deren Namen mir nicht mal was sagen.. ansonsten bleiben wir bei Klassikern :D

Long weekend, way too short still. Back in the salt mines and as promised the "ordentlich aufbereitete Tabelle" ..


Und der - vorläufige - Plan für #25 am 4. März sieht ungefähr so aus:
Runde 1 - Blaue Runde (alles von Blauer Peter bis Blue Hawaii, Blue Moon, blauer Montag und Indigo... blue movies.. hmm. there's an idea :D)
Runde 2 - noch keine Idee - wird wohl 'ne Überraschungsrunde... lange keine Anagramme gehabt :D .. oder vielleicht Kreativ-Runde
Yogi - Walt's World (Disney, the man, the mouse, the films, the parks)
Music - The Name Game (9 Songs mit Vornamen im Titel)

Vorhersage der Woche spar ich mir da sich außer den Cannonballs eh keiner daran beteiligt (Frank, sagt mir Bescheid wann ihr das nächste Mal kommt, dann such ich mir wieder was aus ...)

Und noch eine Ansage um gleich eventuellen zukünftigen Auseinandersetzungen aus dem Weg zu gehen. Es sind Gerüchte umgegangen daß sich Teams während der Runden ihrer i- oder anderen phones bedient haben.
Bisher gab es keine Notwendigkeit einer Spielregel, die Handys oder andere Hilfsmittel ausdrücklich untersagt. Und da ich das auch gerne weiterhin so handhaben würde bitte ich alle diejenigen die sich von ihren Spielzeugen nicht trennen können, diese während der Runden in die Tasche zu stecken. Sollte mir Mogeln zu Augen/Ohren kommen werden dem entsprechenden Team ohne vorherige gelbe Karte oder andere Warnungen die Hälft der Punkte in der entsprechenden Runde abgezogen. Das Spiel heißt nicht "wer-am-schnellsten-googeln-kann". Und anschließende Wikipedia-Checks und öffentliches Besserwissen führen auch nur zu unnötigen Verstimmungen... genauso wie gegenseitiges Beschuldigen oder Petzen.. wir sollten alle alt genug sein um knallhart aber fair miteinander zu spielen :D

In diesem Sinne - viel Spaß bei der Vorbereitung (mit Hilfe eurer wie auch immer gearteten Hilfsmittel) und auf ein Neues am nächsten Donnerstag.
