Anyroads - quickly points, and table (3 weeks left, eh!?) and the first 30 pics (or link to them.. all up in the fb group).. and book. Remember - it's getting autumn (despite claims to the contrary) - it's getting fuller on Thursday night so if you want in - reserve in time.
Yogi Right - if you return on 27th - goes to The Noobs, after them to Buggers, and danach to Intestinal Pain. Do send me at least 2 suggestions for your favourite topic (no 'single celebrity', no pirates :(, no Pooh, no Pulp Fiction, no...whatever we had in the last 5 weeks)
On 11th we'll have the annual Ossi, Ossi, Ossi round (week after 7 October ;) and WQ59 MIGHT include an Alcohol Round (no actual alcohol involved though) - it's Arthur Guinness Day. Rest - let's wait and see.

I've been compiling lists of "Songs about..." for quiz nights for quite a while now (there are some lists, but spread over hundreds of websites, and far from complete - this one ain't either :).. Anyroad, this one has taken ages to put together and I thought that all that sleepless nights' work should not be wasted.This is the result of titles found in lists on the 'net and pulled from my own musical library. The list includes some cover versions but mostly just the original, find your own remakes ;)
There are some alcoholic drinks included though songs about booze is another list, for another day. Also, while there are songs about 'non-alcoholic' bevvies listed, I've not put down every song about water (ist zum Waschen da... ;). Also - I've listed 'orange' songs even though it's about the colour... (bit like 'Fly me to the Moon' in a list of 'Songs about... animals' :))
Some of the songs are German Lieder... just because I am :)
If you have any more suggestions or corrections - please leave a comment (I could do with a few more 'new' songs.. always get complaints my choice of music is too 'antiquated'.. which it should be, after almost half a century :).

Fiction - Pulp & Phantasie

First things first (that's how half of the posts here start but then I am NOT the famous author in our little quiz family) - HUGE THANK YOU to all who have voted for FALAYSIA. We (well, actually, Ina ;)) have made it into the top 5 list. RESULT!!!! Now for the experts to decide.
