After last week's very fun- and point-heavy QuiKy #002 we'll test your knowledge about all things Greek tonight. (about lots of other things too...). From Ancient Greece to current politics, sports and geography, culture & cuisine - if that's not Greek to you pop in tonight and prove it.

Griechenland bleibt drin. Bei uns heute in der 2. Runde - alles von Akropolis bis Athene, Homer bis Hades, Sparta bis Syriza, von Onassis bis Olympia, von Feta bis Fustanella. Griechenland Spezial beim Quiky. Schaut vorbei heute Abend ab 20 Uhr. Noch haben wir freie Tische.

Pardon the tardiness in posting points but real life (of the non-quiz variety) had other plans and priorities for me.
Anyroad - last week's first 'proper' Quiky3.0 was tons of fun, ended ON TIME!!! and saw Fietscherings**** throw the gauntlet at 7-times champions DAQ******* with a nice 90+ score. Champs were probably still celebrating yet another in-team (sic) wedding but I'm sure by tonight's kick-off they will have picked up said gauntlet.
BigBallZ came second and Graces* third... basically, champs missed Yogi by 11,5 points ;)
4-2-Won won said Yogi and chose an interesting/entertaining topic.

Right, Queops, tonight it all begins. Again. With Quiky3.0/001.
After last week's dress rehearsal which showed us some flaws and shortcomings (which will be fixed by the time we kick off tonight), and let us find out feet (and new Stammtische) we kick off the first Quiky3.0 Champions League season in the Kilkenny Irish Pub tonight. At 8pm. Waiting to get defeated are four former (and one reigning) teams of champions, and several contenders.
We'll have a nice new batch of questions, pictures, and music as well as the usual free nuts and alcohol for losers and winners.
If you're game, find us in the Celtic room of the Kilkenny Irish Pub (or follow the noise). The earlier you're there the better the tables still available.

I'm looking forward to new challenges, challengers, and tons of fun.

Le Quiz est mort, vive le quiz. A moving announcement.

Last week saw us conclude the 14th season of Ye Wilde Quiz Champions League, and also Ye Wilde Quiz. (round-up and photos later this week)

We have now moved venue and time.

As of tonight (Monday 8 June) we shall be asking (and answering) challenging questions at QuiKy 3.0, the new (old) quiz in Kilkenny Irish Pub at Hackescher Markt.

Queople who have played the Wilde Quiz won't have to get used to new rules, most things stay they way they've been for years (good! :). People who've never had the experience - here are the general rules in English & German.
The whole QuiKy is in English and German, the topics & questions are international, 'intergenerational' ;) mix.

Our main objective is to have fun, meet old friends and new people, maybe learn a few things, and give the old brain a bit of an airing... Of course we'll also have alcohol, nuts, and more alcohol. And prizes.

Why not pop down to the old KK and check it out? We're looking forward to new faces and maybe some serious challengers for our old champions.
