Quiz regulars, royalty, and really intriguing things

Only 20 hours to go and Houston we have a crowd.
I'm looking forward to a great quiz night already, not having all the questions and answers yet but....
Booked for Quiky #7 -  quiz "royalty" like Feid Club, Pinkies & the Brain, and Super Nova, defending champions Smashing Peaches, and new Quiky addicts like KillKennys, Chocolate Teapots, Just Met Today, and Kopfnüsse - that should be a great night.
Topics then, for those of you who like to swot... or 'prepare':

Round 1: Oscars. Because tonight's the night. Academy Awards in general, and a few very 'aktuelle' questions on Oscars 2011 (Go Jeff Bridges!!!)

Round 2: Go Fish. Mixed round on anything and everything fish(y).. fish fingers, fish in music, movies, tomato sauce, fried, or in aquariums.

Yogi Round: Eisern Union Berlin. Yep. Hertha fans - da müßt ihr mit leben. :)

Music Round: Bands/artist that start with the letter 'A'. Amy Winehouse, AC/DC, Arctic Monkeys, Alphaville.......

I've been looking for ... questions

and I've found at least some for tomorrow night's NewQuiky #6.
Round 1 - no Hoff, but Disney movies. Yep. With music 'n all...and because I've just realised how LONG a list that is - animated fillums only. Nur Zeichentrickfilme. Sonst werden wir nie fertig bis 23.00 Uhr.
Round 2 - no Hoff either. Or sex toys. And auf gar keinen Fall Hoff's sex toys. No idea yet.
Yogi Round - Sports. Yep. so allgemein. Da finde ich doch sicher was. Danke KillKennys :)
Music - a trip to the zoo. Lange nicht gehabt. Songs with animals in the title or songs about animals. Hund, Katze, Maus...

Alreet, Ratefüchse old and new, here's the points from last night's quiztravaganza. That was indeed A LOT of fun, and very spannend till the very end. Just have to remember to politely decline next time winners offer me shots of the won bevvie. Together with Guinness, vodka lemon shots and something else I forgot it is not the best combination.. headache almost guaranteed :)

Nur so zur Erinnerung - die Zeit läuft ab. Falls ihr mir bis Mitternacht kein Thema schickt (oder Montag nicht antretet) gibt's 'ne Runde 90er Jahre.

Fresh out of ideas

Mann war det 'n Spaß. Mal wieder 'n Beweis für 'quality, not quantity'.. wenn man mal von den 15 oder so Englishmen absieht, die mich dann bis gegen1 Uhr zum DJing 'gezwungen' haben...aber auch das war Spaß :)
Gut zu sehen daß sich in relativ kurzer Zeit schon wieder eine kleine Quiz family gebildet hat. Mal schauen ob wir noch Zuwachs bekommen können.
Was mich daran erinnert - nochmals die allerherzlichsten Glückwünsche zur Ankunft von Lea. Man kann nie genug Rate-Nachwuchs haben .. und es scheint ja auch die geistige Potenz gesteigert zu haben :P :)
So - erst mal kurz und knackig - Punkte.

And last but not least - preview NewQuiky #5. Außer Berlin Film Festival hab ich noch keine Eingebung (ich hatte kurz eine, die ist aber sehr flüchtig gewesen).

Alles andere up here at the weekend, have to deal with some work-related and private issues first.

Forgot to say - the right to pick the topic for the Yogi round next week goes to - in this order - Team Sachsen, BFS, Hartz 4 Life, Sexkino, or Just met today & Friends. Points, proof pics, & prickly pears

Well what can I say (in English first, and then in Deutsch)?! Only the third night of NewQuiky and the turnout was most excellent. Dead chuffed to see some new regulars, and some old, and some even older faces again. And that's not looking in the mirror in the morning :)
Going by comments and 'crime scene' photographs I'd say everyone had fun last night. If you didn't - do tell :)
So - here's points first, and first pics later, and a recommendation wrapped in a warning.

Was soll man sagen - erst die dritte NewQuiky-Auflage und schon sehr nette Teilnehmer(zahlen). Ich war hoch erfreut neue 'Stamm'teams, und alte Hasen, und noch ältere Hasen wiederzusehen. Fantastisch! Das verspricht sehr lustig zu werden in den kommenden Wochen und Monaten.
Den Kommentaren und Beweisfotos nach zu urteilen hatte jeder gestern viel Spaß.. wenn/wer nicht - laßt hören warum :)
Vieh dem auch sei - Punkte, erste Bilder, und eine Empfehlung mit einem Warnschild :)

That's that - and here's the prickly pear part. Schöfferhofer Kaktusfeige. A fruity wheat beer/cactus fruit juice mix. Highly quaffable even though I normally don't drink 'Hefe'. I recommend you try. Caveat: Do NOT simuldrink severereral Guinnesses AND cactusbeers in a relatively short space of time. Your head won't like it.
Empfehlung der Woche: Schöfferhofer Kaktusfeige Mix. Fruchtig, lecker, und schmeckt nach seeeehr viel mehr wenn gut gekühlt (sagt eine überzeugte Anti-Weizen-Vertreterin). Abzuraten jedoch ist vom gleichzeitigen Genuß mehrerer Guinnesse UND KakteenHefeweizen innerhalb eines sehr überschaubaren Zeitraumes. Haarwurzelkatharr garantiert.
